What are the relationships between verbal, visual, and formal language? How do lines, volumes, and shapes come together to communicate meaning? The language project, at its core, consists of 3 main components: an object (a ping pong ball, a rubber band, and a coin), a word (elegant, angry, and playful), and paper. From there, it’s the designer’s responsibility to figure out how to make unique constructions using each word and object only once, while also communicating the meaning behind the word.
